Crozes-Hermitage Roche Blanche 2013 Tasting notes A beautiful bright, clear pale gold lustre with soft green glints. This wine has an expressive, rich and complex nose. From the outset it develops aromas of ripe fruit such as quince, to which are added soft, sweet spices (cinnamon…), and white blossom. Vanilla and roasted notes bear witness to the expertly-managed élevage in perfectly matched French oak barrels. In the mouth, the wine is rounded, smooth and structured. Aromatically, dried fruit, nutmeg and macadamia add to the notes already appreciated in the nose. This wine, with its powerful aromas, is rich and full. It will be at its best in 2 to 4 years and will be the perfect accompaniment to white river fish, frogs’ legs or subtle dishes marrying poultry with shellfish.
