Hermitage blanc 2013

Tasting notes

This wine is so bright it lights up the glass. The beautiful golden yellow with glints of green give nobility and depth.

The bouquet is complex and reflects the wonderful mastery of the vinification process. Harvested at the height of ripeness, the golden grapes produce a strong aroma of mirabelle, bergamot, ripe peach and citron. It is a medley of yellow fruit and white blossoms that blend flawlessly. The palate is voluble, full and fleshy.

Combining the sucrosité of the marsanne, and the freshness of the rousanne, the balance is perfect and promises to marry well with culinary delights. This Hertmitage is a wine to be enjoyed with fine food.

Wait another 2 to 5 years before drinking with medallions of monkfish with asparagus tips, white truffle risotto or salmon gravlax for those who like the alliance of sweetness and savoury.
