Beautiful deep, golden yellow. The sparkling green highlights give both brightness and an attractive lustre.

Slightly swirled in the glass, mirabelle and yellow fruit dominate and invite indulgence. Nutmeg and sandalwood, for example, play a part in giving an ethereal, almost powdered aspect. Finally, more imposing notes of bergamot and confectionery give this cuvée the pleasing and voluble character which is its hallmark.

The sensation of smoothness is dominant in the palate. The slightly aniseed, light fennel notes are typical of northern Rhone marsanne. In fact, the marriage of aromatic freshness and sucrosité in the palate allow this cuvée to fulfil its role as an appetizer.

So, drink without delay as an aperitif, with white meat or roasted rabbit with garlic.
